Scott Soutter is a Project Manager for a salvage company involved in work in South America and the Asia Pacific Regions. As such, Mr. Soutter is responsible for managing and overseeing projects, and representing the company and its shareholders in business dealings. Scott Soutter began his career in 1981 as a boilermaker apprentice at Transfield Pty Ltd in Mount Isa Mines, QLD Australia. After completing his apprenticeship, Mr. Soutter worked for numerous companies in Australia, Indonesia, and the Middle East, doing both supervising work and hands-on work in the commercial construction industry, and spending many years working in and around the marine industry, where he worked in ship maintenance and repair. Scott Soutter has also held positions in home construction and repair, pool building, and support structure development for Moreton Dairy Services.
In 2005, Scott Soutter began working on behalf of the shareholders who invested in salvage operations off the coasts of Vanuatu, Indonesia, Singapore, and Australia, reporting on the progress of numerous salvage recoveries. Mr. Soutter has also worked on the corporate end of salvage operations, acting as an information source in a court case concerning one of his past employers. Additionally, Scott Soutter has served as an investigations delegate, discreetly researching a new business liability on behalf of his employer, located in the Philippines. His investigative work earned Mr. Soutter a reputation as a thorough and precise company representative and enabled him to begin working as a person for hire by other companies. Since then, Scott Soutter has taken cases throughout the Philippines and Indonesia.
Scott Soutter is also a seasoned salvage diver, having frequently dived to depths of over 150 feet to reach shipwrecks off the coasts of Indonesia and Singapore. As part of a salvage crew, Mr. Soutter has done everything from supervising crews and divers to personally diving and recovering goods, boiler making, constructing ship quarters, maintaining and repairing ships, and preparing and delivering progress reports to company directors, lawyers and shareholders.
